At long last, the Need For Speed series has returned. In this latest release from EA, you'll find a shining example of what an arcade racing game should be. The graphics are crisp and cars sound amazing as they blast past at top speeds, the controls feel perfect as you fly through corners and take shortcuts with precision timing, and there is a huge selection of vehicles to choose from. Best of all, Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 Playstation 2 Game is one of those rare games that can't be beat at any price! We have all been waiting for this moment for a very long time now. It has been something that has been forced upon us, something that has tortured us every step of the way. We have fought for our right to see this game released on the Playstation 2. Finally it's here, finally we can sit down and play an enjoyable game no matter what! The graphics are incredible, the sound is perfect, and the cars feel hot under your wheels. With so much to see and do in this game, you'll want to dig deep to see what's around every turn. But don't stay too long or you'll run out of gas! The Need For Speed series has always been one of my favorite sub-genres in gaming. With a racer that is as fun as this, you can expect to see me at the top of the leader board. I was very eager to sit down and play this game from beginning to end. I was not let down at all by this title. The graphics are pretty much your standard NFS style graphics, great for a Playstation 2 game because it really doesn't need much else to blow you away. There are times when you have a car going so fast that even the trees go out of focus because of how quickly they move. The sounds from the cars are very realistic as well. The way the tires screech as you turn a corner, to the sound of your engine roaring down the straight away at top speed, these are things that really make this game stand out. Even though you'll find yourself with plenty of cash to spend on new cars and upgrades, there is no real structure or order to how you can go about customizing your ride. It's just one big free for all, which makes it seem like any other Need For Speed game that has come before it. They've also included some new ideas that they couldn't even try in previous games because of limitations on older systems. Things like putting blinders or rear view mirrors on your car, or using an iPod to interface with your car stereo. The game has one main race track, full of turns and loops. But in addition to this there are also some different modes you can play before the main event. In Time Attack mode you need to beat a time trial of a predesigned course. In Daily Challenge you have the option of completing a course from the previous day's list of challenges, or of selecting your own course from a list of five pre-made tracks. In Multiplayer mode you can take on up to 12 other players racing for supremacy down specific courses that have been designed just for that occasion. cfa1e77820
